As the winter chill sets in and the holiday season approaches, we are delighted to unveil our latest wine club shipment, curated exclusively for our Aspect members.
This season, we've handpicked a selection of exceptional wines that will add warmth and merriment to your festivities. Inside this shipment, you'll discover rich, velvety reds and crisp, refreshing whites that are perfect for pairing with your holiday feasts or sipping by the fireside.
Whether you're celebrating with family, friends, or just looking to unwind after a long day, our winter wines are sure to make your moments extra special.
CELEBRATE THE HOLIDAY SEASON
AN INTERVIEW WITH WINEMAKER, TAYLOR WHELAN
Our transition to organic practices have resulted in light, fresh flavour profiles in our Pinot grapes sourced from three acres in Block 2 and five acres in Block 4.
My top pick of the season is our Syrah from Haynes Creek, a site situated on south-west facing slopes in South Okanagan.
I have to say this vintage is the best yet, perfectly resembling what the North Okanagan can achieve in terms of terroir.
This Block of Riesling was planted in 1991 making it home to some of the oldest vines on the property. These vines love to retain acidity so a late pick was essential to capturing just the right balance of freshness and fruit This wine was inspired by some of the really great German Rieslings wines, which often have intense fruit profiles as well as great acidity. The 2020 vintage was a great one and this block was the last fruit picked. It was fermented in a mixture of oak and stainless steel. The resulting wine is beautifully balanced and fresh.

“There was no holding back with Aspect wines. We have taken all the time and attention to make the best wines possible in our portfolio, using special grapes sourced from our old vines in Home Block vineyard. This site is unique due to its proximity to Okanagan Lake, as well as the cooler summers and warmer winters. Given the northwest aspect, hence, the namesake for the collection and club.”

We’ll craft your shipment together after we transport you to the top of our vineyard, so please remember to wear vineyard friendly footwear. You’ll meet the Viticulturist team in our Estate vineyards to visit five Scottish Highland cows, and learn how they contribute to the healthy ecosystem that we work in concert with every day to handcraft organic wines that are a true testament to soil and site.
Explore how we farm organically with sneak-peek sips of our new Pinot Noir and Rosé sourced from South Kelowna Slopes paired with seasonal bites in our Pavilion prepared by Chef Neil Taylor from Home Block.
